Line: UCLA -6, Total: 133 (current NCAA Tournament spreads and totals)

UCLA Record: 21-13 ATS: 18-16 O/U: 12-21 Overview: UCLA, the selection committee’s most widely-panned decision, quieted some doubters with a spirited – if fortunate – win over SMU as a 4-point underdog on Thursday. There’s no hate toward the Bruins in the betting world, though, as they are now on an 11-3 run against the spread.  Now, they’re back in the role of favorites, where they’re more comfortable, tallying a 12-8 ATS record when laying points this season.

UAB Record: 20-15 ATS: 18-13-1 O/U: 12-14-1 Overview: Behind the heroics of freshman William Lee, UAB ousted No. 3 seed and Big 12 champ Iowa State to earn a spot in the Round of 32.  While the Cyclones were the first ranked team the Blazers have beaten this season, they are now 11-5 ATS as underdogs this years.

The Linemakers’ lean: The Bruins are currently on an 11-4 run to the UNDER, and coach Steve Alford has the team playing its best when its controlling pace. These two teams hooked up on Nov. 28 with UCLA winning 88-76 as a 14-point favorite. Our ratings say UCLA should be favored by -10.5 for this one, so there is am advantage by taking a healthy UCLA squad laying only 6 points. The top play is UCLA -6 with a secondary lean on UNDER 133.5.
