In a financial call, however, the company confirmed that gamers won’t have to wait much longer for either title because both games will be out in 2015....

The aim of Ubisoft Motion Pictures is to adapt their many video game franchises into feature films and TV projects and while we don’t see too many top tier video game studios forming a large film branch, the move is not a surprising one. According to reports, Michael Winterman, 60, appeared to be intoxicated when he entered Uber driver Abdelkadre Khamis Ahmat’s vehicle in Covington, Ky., which is just across the river from Cincinnati, on May 28. Ahmat told officials that his GPS stopped working during the ride, and he asked Winterman for directions to his home in Cincinnati. Instead of providing Ahmat, a Black man born in Chad, with directions to his house, Winterman allegedly became frustrated, according to reports....

As revealed in Ubisoft’s latest financial report, the company has three games in particular that it plans on shipping by the end of next March. Assuming there aren’t any delays or other issues, Ubisoft fans can look forward to playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, and Skull & Bones within the next year. Instead, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate builds its plot around twins Evie and Jacob Frye, acting as multiple playable characters in a move successfully used by Grand Theft Auto V....
