The most recent gigantic screwup with DRM occurred with Assassin’s Creed 2, which required gamers to have a constant internet connection or else they couldn’t play the game....

Dubbed Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Trilogy, this collection will be releasing on November 13th (a strange release date considering AC3 launches on October 30th), and will feature all of Assassin’s Creed 2 and all of its respective DLC, as well as the full retail versions of AC: Brotherhood and AC: Revelations. Through these three games, players will not only be able to experience Ezio de Auditore’s story, but witness the evolution of the franchise’s multiplayer....

The full apology from Ubisoft starts by acknowledging the specific issue with the video. Namely, the use of what Ubisoft calls the “raised fist” symbol. This term is commonly associated with longstanding revolutionary imagery, including the modern Black Lives Matter logo. A voting rights bill was signed in Georgia in March, which limits absentee ballots, early voting, ballot drop boxes and brings in tougher voter ID requirements. Ocasio-Cortez, who represents New York’s 14th congressional district, told GQ magazine that misogyny was a major problem in U.S. politics and that it could affect any future presidential bid. Boebert criticized that interview in comments on Newsmax on Friday and argued that people disagreed with the Democrat’s policies, and it was not that they disliked her personally. “When you look up ‘victimhood mentality’ in the dictionary, it should show a picture of AOC’s face,” Boebert said....
