The ride-hailing company is to pay a total of $3.4 million to around 15,000 drivers after violating Seattle’s paid sick leave law. Uber was investigated by Seattle’s Office of Labor Standards when drivers raised concerns over not benefiting from the law. The company found technical glitches on its app prevented some Seattle drivers from accessing their paid-time-off accounts. In some cases, time-off requests were canceled among other glitches. “While the vast majority of workers claimed their Paid Sick and Safe Time without an issue, we’re grateful that the Office of Labor Standards worked in partnership with us as we improved our systems to ensure accurate and prompt payments,” said Uber’s public affairs manager Harry Hartfield in a news release....

It seemed like Skull and Bones would finally meet its release date when the game was announced to be releasing last November, even though it was going to have stiff competition from Sonic Frontiers and God of War Ragnarok. Ubisoft ultimately decided to delay the game again, pushing the Skull and Bones release date to March 9, 2023. However, the company has now confirmed that fans will have to wait to play Skull and Bones until the next fiscal year, meaning it could launch at any point between this coming April and March of 2024....

The official scheduled release for Watch Dogs: Legion is tomorrow, but reviewers have already gotten their hands on copies. In August 2020, Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures officially announced the studio was moving forward with a fourth chapter of The Matrix. After having directed the previous three Matrix films with her sister, Lilly Wachowski, filmmaker Lana Wachowski will helm the fourth installment on her own based on a screenplay she co-wrote with Aleksander Hemon and David Mitchell.
